Careers pages and job ads statistics

Who is responsible: Bonzer ApS / Bonzer AB / Bonzer AS – the company recruiting for the market the job belongs to – is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].

What we do: Only if you have accepted "Statistics" in the cookie banner, your browser sends a short message to our own recruitment system (Bonzer ATS) when you view our careers page, a job ad or the open application page, and the first time you start filling in an application. The message contains which page and job it concerns, which website you came from (the domain only, e.g. linkedin.com – never the full address) or a campaign tag (utm_source), and your IP address and browser type. No cookies or other information are stored on your device. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, nothing is sent.

How the information is used: Your IP address and browser type are only used to count unique visitors per day: they are combined with a random key that changes every day into a code that cannot be traced back to you. The IP address and browser type themselves are not stored in the statistics, and the codes and keys are deleted after two days. We keep only daily totals (page views, unique visitors and started applications per page, job, market and source). If you submit an application, the source (e.g. "LinkedIn") is stored with your application.

Why & legal basis: To see how our job ads perform and which channels bring applicants. The legal basis is your consent (the cookie rules and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Sharing: The information is not shared with third parties. Our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon) process it solely on our behalf as data processors, in the EU or under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention: Codes and keys are deleted after two days. The daily totals contain no personal data and are kept as long as they are relevant for our statistics.

Your choices: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on the website. Contact [email protected] with questions, or complain to your data protection authority (in Denmark, Datatilsynet).
