Money Pages

Money pages are the pages on a website that create business directly: product pages, category pages, service pages and pricing pages. This is where a visitor turns into a customer or a lead, and one of the main jobs of the rest of the site is to carry the right visitors there.

The term is useful because it forces prioritization into SEO work. Traffic only has value when it lands in the right place or is led onward to it. A thousand visitors on a blog post with no route forward is a fine curve in the report and not much else.

A money page has to rank on keywords with commercial search intent: "accounting software for small businesses", "dentist Copenhagen", "buy office chairs". Competition on those terms is brutal, and the page rarely carries the weight alone. Guides and blog posts catch the early informational queries, build authority on the topic and pass both visitors and link value onward through internal links.

A money page is measured on its ability to convert as well, which is where SEO crosses into CRO. A money page on page one that does not convert is an expensive shop window. AI search sharpens the division of labor: when AI answers handle the early research questions, the visitors who click through to a money page arrive closer to a decision, and the page meets a more demanding reader.
